1. Is Emveda a modeling agency?
A. No, Emveda is neither a modeling agency nor an employment agency.
We plan and organize Model Go See events. In order to do so, our experienced professionals search for talented new faces. Those chosen by Emveda talent scouts are then given the chance to take part in a big Emveda Model Go See event. There, they can demonstrate their modeling talent and aptitude to renowned agents and their representatives.

2. What should I wear to the Casting?
A. Come to the Casting in your favorite outfit, one that not only makes you look your best, but also makes you feel your best

3. Why are there open Castings?
A. Open Castings allow our professional talent scouts to make a preliminary selection for the agencies with which we work.

4. Are Emveda scouts also professionals?
A. Yes, they have had many years of experience and have been very successful in their jobs.

5. Can I come to several Castings?
A. Yes, it is entirely up to you.

6. Does a Casting cost anything?
A. No, of course not. Our open Castings are always free of charge.

7. Do I have to bring photos to the Casting?
No, you do not need to bring photographs to the open Castings.

8. Do I have to sign up to take part in a Casting?
A. No, they are open Castings, you do not need to make an appointment. Simply come to the announced location at one of the times given.

9. Is there a maximum age limit?
A. Not really. What matters is your overall appearance and photogenic qualities and/or stage presence.

10. What kinds of models are you searching for?
A. Basically, we are looking for every type of model. Different companies have different target groups for their advertising. Thus, every kind of model is being sought by model agencies.

11. What criteria do the model scouts use to make their selections?
A. The model scouts select models based on criteria used by international modeling agencies.

12. Should I wear makeup?
A. No. Please come with no makeup or very little makeup, so that we can get a natural impression of you.

13. I have absolutely no experience as a model. Is that a problem?
A. No, quite the contrary. We are looking for New Faces. However, you need to demonstrate a certain talent and the desire and discipline required to enter the modeling business.

14. Can I bring a friend or family member along?
A. Yes, of course you may bring someone with you.

15. Are you also looking for male models?
A. Yes, naturally.

16. Does Emveda also hold Castings for children or infants?

A. No. The minimum age to participate in the Castings is 14. At this time we do not offer Castings for younger applicants.

17. Exactly what should I expect at a Casting?
A. First, members of the Emveda team will invite you to fill out a questionnaire. Then, after an introduction to the modeling business, you will have the opportunity to present yourself to the scouts. The scouts will consider your self-introduction and your completed questionnaire, forming an impression of you. After a short evaluation period, you will be told whether or not you have been selected to proceed further.

18. How do I know if I will be invited to the Model Go See?
A. Our Emveda Scouts inform you directly at the Casting if you will receive an invitation or not. At the Casting itself you will receive a Welcome Package with all of the additional information you need.

19. What if I am a minor?
A. In this case, the signature of your parent or legal guardian is required.

20. Why do I have to bring my ID card to the Model Go See?
A. So that we can identify you.

21. Do I need to bring a SED card or photos to the Emveda Model Go See?
A. Yes, unlike the Casting, you will need to bring a portrait and full body photo with you to the Model Go See.You should be easily recognizable in both pictures. The photos should be taken against a neutral background, with sufficient lighting. If you already have a SED card or model book, you can bring these along. If you have neither, the agent who would like to work with you will arrange to have photos made of you. This always happens without initial costs to you.
